Q&A Take a Walk for the Wild

Main objectives of the run

Wilderness International will use 50 percent of the funds raised to purchase and protect pristine areas in Canada’s unique West Coast Temperate Rainforest. This guarantees immediate and sustainable protection from clear-cut logging, mining and other forms of environmental destruction. Wilderness International commits the remaining 50 percent to development and implementation of regional and international conservation-oriented education and projects for interested and motivated students!

Δ Adopt a piece of the Rainforest

Working together, we will create a large conservation area in the Coastal Rainforest of Canada. The Foundation, schools and students in partnership with the Cowichan Tribes and Wilderness International Canada all become stewards/protectors of this area.

Δ Conservation of the Arctic

Wilderness International, in partnership with the Gwich’in First Nation is committed to protecting this region for the benefit of us all! The First Nation peoples of northern Canada have the largest contiguous natural areas on earth! It is a place where with a conscientious and immediate effort we can achieve sustainable and significant results!
