We are back in our office regularly now, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm (CET), where you can reach us personally and on the phone.
Due to the current situation, we will have to do without many important donations from partners and events. Any contribution to the protection of wilderness makes a great difference during this time. And you can easily make an impact from home, for example by protecting a piece of wilderness, giving away a piece of wilderness as a gift or making a regular contribution.

Come with us to…
Wednesday Sept. 14/11
Location: FIS Frankfurt , Germany
Today we did 4 presentations for the primary grades at FIS. Kai talked about the Wilderness International Program and how it involves and benefits us, The Cowichan People. During the presentation we told them what islands we camped at like Valdez Island, Sansum Point, and the Broken Islands. We showed pictures of canoes, cedar weaving, and many animals that we saw on our canoe outings as well as original to our home Animals and plants are important to our people because we use them as a food source, like our grandparents did. We performed for the children, singing the Ladies Honor Song and the Remembrance song. The children really enjoyed watching us. Afterwards we let them ask us questions, gave them post cards with a Bald Eagle on it as a souvenier. It was so much fun!
