Forest Dump – the deforestation of western Canada’s rainforests
How is deforestation of the western Canadian rainforest affecting the biodiversity of the forests and their ecosystems?
In how far does it affect the lifestyle of the First Nations?
We, Tobias and Pia, want to answer these questions in our project “Forest Dump”. We will interview members of the First Nations during the expedition, as well as take an inventory of primary, secondary and transition forests. The data we collect will be used to write a document that will not only inform readers about the deforestation in the rainforests of western Canada, but our intention is also to animate them to do something about it.
