Environmental stewardship for the marine ecosystems that form the basis of their business is a core concept of the company. And that is exactly how we got to know them: As absolutely passionate about the animals, the marine ecosystem, and their work. And with this same passion, they pass on to their guests their great knowledge about the sea and their love for the whales. Thanks to this, guests do not only enjoy once-in-a-lifetime wildlife viewing experiences, but are also inspired to love and  protect what they see.
Eagle Wing Tours has been honored with multiple prizes for their efforts for sustainability and nature conservation. Added to that, as a co-founder of the they Victoria Sustainable Tourism Alliance (ViSTA), they cooperate with other companies to promote responsible eco-tourism.

We are excited to be partnering with Eagle Wing Tours since 2019, when the company started offsetting their carbon footrpint every year. Added to that, their costumers donate a 1 CAD wildlife fee to Wilderness International for the protection of valuable rainforest habitat, since those are spawning grounds for the salmon that are the basis of life for the whales and many other wild animals that their business depends on. And on top of all, a part of the company's profit is donated to Wilderness International and other conservation organizations every year via the „1% for the Planet“ initiative.
