In the wilderness lies the preservation of the world.

Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head
We woke up between huge fallen trees, of course it was still raining. Since we only had one full day with Tim we took advantage of it as much as we could. First at camp we had a long talk about seaweed and shellfish. After the teaching was over all of our clothes were soaked right through. We honestly thought the rain would never end. Then with the canoes we went to an island just off the main land to harvest oysters, seaweed, and blue mussels. Tim taught us about what can be found on the coast and what is edible and what is not. We ate fresh oysters right from the sea water. They were quite yummy.
