1. Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ)
The Ecological Volunteer Year always begins on September 1st, and ends on August 31st the following year. You can find further information from our partner, the Landesstiftung für Natur und Umwelt (LANU).
If you would like to get to know and support the work of an internationally active non-profit-organization, you can apply for an internship with us. This is your possibility to work to your interests and strengths, try new things and gain valuable experience!
You are busy and don’t have a lot of time, but you occasionally want to volunteer for environmental protection? We always need energetic and enthusiastic helpers for our Walk for the Wild and other events.
You could contribute IT- and media skills? Welcome to the team! These abilities are more and more at the forefront of our public relations work. We would love your support!
Are you interested in forest and species inventories, CO2-sequestration in biomass, undiscovered healing plants, wild animal observation and other research topics around wilderness as a part of your Master’s thesis or Doctorate program? We encourage students, especially of Biology or Geography, to carry out their research work in our protected wilderness areas. If your work fits into our common topics, contact us with an email! Are you in 9th to 11th grade and want to take part in an expedition? Then apply for a scholarship to become an Environmental Ambassador! We are looking for curious and enthusiastic young people who want to work hard for the protection of threatened wilderness areas. If you have taken part in the Walk for the Wild, and if during the multi-step application process you can convince us of your commitment, you have the best chance to join us.
